Job summary

Westlake Pipe & Fittings is seeking a Warehouse Associate to accurately receive, store, prepare and ship product. You will follow containment plans, work with RF technologies, and support distribution needs with attention to detail and a strong work ethic.

Responsibilities include inbound freight handling, order picking, outbound shipping, equipment operation and inventory control. This is an on-site role with opportunities for advancement and benefits from day one.

Qualifications

• Preferred high school degree.
• 6 months of distribution and warehousing experience or comparable experience – RF technologies a plus.
• Must be able to read, count accurately, do simple math and write legibly, and pass a basic math pre-employment test.
• Must be capable of standing and walking for extended periods.
• Physically able to exert up to 100 pounds occasionally and up to 50 pounds frequently.

Responsibilities

• Inbound Freight: count products, check shipments and report shortages or damages.
• Order Picking: ensure correct quantity and transport orders to shipping locations.
• Outbound Freight: verify labels and addresses and move product to outbound vehicles.
• Facility/Equipment: maintain clean work areas and operate equipment safely.
• Inventory: keep records and assist in inventories and cycle counts.
• Other duties: repack or re-box damaged goods and operate shrink-wrap machine.
