Job summary

Steiner Industries, a division of Bunzl, is seeking a Warehouse Worker for our Fairfield facility. You will pick and fill orders from stock, pack and ship orders, and manage stock in the warehouse. The role requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prior warehouse experience.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse operation experience.
• Reach truck and/or cherry picker experience preferred.
• Basic computer skills; accuracy and efficiency.
• Must be dependable and a team player.
• Must be able to lift more than 40 lbs and frequent lifting 20–45 lbs.
• Must be able to work at heights up to 21 feet with safety equipment.

Responsibilities

• Pick customer orders as indicated on pick tickets and process in system.
• Wrap and label pallets; load trucks as needed.
• May operate an industrial forklift.
• Conduct bin walks; check empty bins.
• Align pallets in slots and level loads.
• Maintain a clean, organized and safe work environment.
• Assist other warehouse workers as needed by Warehouse Manager or Supervisor.
