Job summary

Steiner Industries, a division of Bunzl, is seeking a Warehouse Worker for our facility in Fairfield. The role involves picking and packing orders, loading trucks, and managing stock in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse operation experience.
• Basic computer skills; accuracy and efficiency.
• Must be dependable and a team player.
• Must be able to lift more than 40 lbs and frequent lifting on average of 20 to 45 lbs.
• Must be able to work regularly at a height of up to 21 feet above the ground (with provided safety equipment/training).

Responsibilities

• Pick customer orders as indicated on pick tickets and process in system.
• Wrap and label pallets; load trucks as needed.
• May operate an industrial forklift.
• Conduct bin walks; check empty bins.
• Align pallets in slots and level load slots.
• Maintain a clean, organized and safe work environment.
• Assist other warehouse workers as requested by Warehouse Manager or Supervisor.
