Job summary

Bunzl Safety in City of Industry, CA is seeking a Warehouse Worker-Forklift to join our facility. The role involves receiving, picking, packing and shipping orders, and maintaining stock organization. Shift is Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.

to 4:45 p.m., with pay at $19.00 per hour based on experience and location. Responsibilities include selecting orders, operating an industrial forklift, using an on-board computer and RF system, and assisting the Warehouse Manager staff.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift 60–75 lbs with or without accommodation.
• Overtime may be required on short notice.
• Warehouse experience is a plus but not required.
• Must be dependable and a team player.
• Ability to work up to 26 feet high with provided safety equipment.

Responsibilities

• Select customer orders from shelves and load onto trailer.

• Keep a clean, organized, and safe workspace.

Description

Bunzl Safety is currently seeking a Warehouse Worker-Forklift helpful for our facility in City of Industry. The Warehouse Worker will perform a variety of functions that may include receiving and processing incoming stock, picking and filling orders from stock, packing and shipping orders, or managing, organizing and retrieving stock in the warehouse.

Shift Monday-Friday 8am-4:45pm

Pay $19.00 per hour based on experience, education and geographic location.

Responsibilities:

• Select customer orders from shelves, place onto pallet, and load onto trailer
• Utilize an industrial forklift (certification not required)
• Utilize an on-board computer and wireless radio frequency system
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Assist other warehouse workers in completing tasks as requested by the Warehouse Manager or immediate supervisor
• Receiving/Receiving Inspection
• Applicant will be required to do random sampling for quality control inspection and fill out inspection records. Training will be provided; prior experience a plus.

Requirements:

• Must be able tolift heavy objects (occasionally between 60-75 lbs) with or withoutreasonable accommodationfor an entire shift

• Previous warehouse/forklift operation experience a plus but not required
• Must be dependable and a team player
• Must be able to work regularly at a height of up to 26 feet above the ground (with provided safety equipment/processes/training)
