Job summary

MillenniumSoft Inc in Four Oaks, NC is seeking an Operator 1 for Warehouse Operations on the 2nd shift. You will stack boxes, ride a pallet jack, count cases, and operate equipment like RF scanners, forklifts, conveyors, cranes and power trucks within a climate-controlled environment.

Candidates must pass a 10-panel drug screen, wear steel-toe or composite shoes, lift up to 50 lbs, complete background checks, and be computer literate. This is a 12-month assignment with a Monday–Friday schedule.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write, and understand English and perform basic math.
• Basic communication skills required to work with teammates and supervisers.
• Drug screen and background checks are mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Stack boxes and count the cases selected.
• Operate a pallet jack and move materials within the warehouse.

• Maintain records and follow SOPs with limited supervision.

Job Description

Warehouse dept. Candidate will be stacking boxes, riding a pallet jack, counting the cases that are selected.

It is a climate controlled environment. Candidate will be also using an RF Scanner.

Candidate must also be computer literate.

Uses a variety of equipment such as forklifts, conveyers, cranes, handcarts, and power trucks to move materials, parts, assemblies and finished products or goods within a plant, office or warehouse. May maintain records. Develops skills in basic tasks, techniques and procedures within one skill area / process / method. Applies basic knowledge and skills to complete routine tasks consisting of prescribed steps. Works within clearly defined SOPs and / or scientific methods and adheres to quality guidelines. Works under general to limited supervision. High school diploma or equivalent. Zero (0) to one (1) year warehouse experience or related experience and/or training. Obtains and/or maintains appropriate licenses / training / certifications, as needed. Has basic skills training in an analytical / scientific method or operational process area (e.g., material handling and management, logistics, manufacturing production). Effective communication skills at a level co-workers and Team Lead/Supervisor can understand. Ability to read, write, interpret and comprehend documents written in English and perform basic math calculations. Ability to perform/operate in a metrics-driven environment. General computer skills.
