Job summary

MillenniumSoft Inc in Sumter, SC seeks a Warehouse Operator/Material Handler for a 12-month contract on W2. The role is on the 1st shift, 7am to 7pm, 40 hours per week, with pay range $16-20 per hour.

Responsibilities include pulling materials from the post-sterile cage to load trailers and containers, performing data entry for outbound shipments, and operating forklifts, conveyors, cranes, and carts. Must have forklift/warehouse experience, high school diploma, and ability to lift 50 lbs+ and

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Pull materials from stocked areas to load trailers and containers.
• Enter outbound data accurately to track ship-from location.
• Operate forklifts, conveyors, cranes and other equipment safely.
• Follow SOPs and work under defined supervision.

Job Description

• The job description is warehouser. They will be responsible for pulling materials from the post sterile cage to load trailers and containers.
• They are responsible for data entry of the materials that they move into Outbound to show the correct ship from location.
• 2 years previous forklift and warehouse experience is required.
• Uses a variety of equipment such as forklifts, conveyers, cranes, handcarts, and power trucks to move materials, parts, assemblies and finished products or goods within a plant, office or warehouse.
• May maintain records. Develops skills in basic tasks, techniques and procedures within one skill area / process / method.
• Applies basic knowledge and skills to complete routine tasks consisting of prescribed steps.
• Works within clearly defined SOPs and / or scientific methods and adheres to quality guidelines.
• Works under general to limited supervision.

Qualification & Skills

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• (2) year warehouse experience or related experience and/or training.
• Obtains and/or maintains appropriate licenses / training / certifications, as needed.
• Has basic skills training in an analytical / scientific method or operational process area (e.g., material handling and management, logistics, manufacturing production).
• Effective communication skills at a level co-workers and Team Lead/Supervisor can understand.
• Ability to read, write, interpret and comprehend documents written in English and perform basic math calculations.
• Ability to perform/operate in a metrics-driven environment.
• General computer skills.
