Job summary

PL Developments is seeking a Warehouse Operator II to perform a variety of warehouse tasks including order picking, receiving, packing, and inventory maintenance. You will operate forklifts and pallet jacks, follow WMS procedures, and uphold safety and cGMP guidelines.

The role requires attention to detail, reliable teamwork, and flexibility to work Saturday through Tuesday, with competitive pay and weekend shift differentials.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 1–3 years internal and/or 3+ years external warehouse experience required.
• Operate a single, deep reach truck, counter-balanced forklift, rider, order picker and swing reach lift as applicable.
• Excellent math, analytical skills, and attention to detail.
• Detail oriented with good organization and communication skills.
• Self-starter with the ability to meet internal company goals.
• Demonstrates reliability and responsibility.
• Ability to work effectively individually and/or as part of a team with minimal supervision.
• Willingness to work weekends and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Operate a handheld according to WMS to perform core tasks of sales order picking, work order picking, and receiving.
• Complete shipping tasks such as replenishment, consolidation, checking, running pallets, loading, and related tasks.
• Complete receiving tasks, such as unloading, cycle counts, putaways, and inventory tasks.
• Utilize Oracle desktop forms.
• Load/unload and putaway pallets from automation equipment as applicable.
• Report damage and unsafe conditions to management immediately.
• Verify accuracy of work and report discrepancies to management.
• Follow safety procedures and SOPs/WIs; follow all cGMP guidelines.
• Verify forklift safety inspections before operating a forklift.
• Maintain a clean, orderly, inspection-ready workspace; perform other duties as assigned.

Summary

As a Warehouse Operator II, employee will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks in a warehouse environment. This job involves operating equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks to move and transport goods, as well as packing and unpacking items, organizing inventory, and maintaining a safe and clean work environment.

Work Schedule: Saturday - Tuesday 8:00 am - 6:30 pm

Competitive Pay, including shift differential premium for weekend shift position

Position Responsibilities

• Operate a handheld according to WMS manual to perform the core tasks of sales order picking, work order picking, and purchase order receiving (as applicable per site)
• Complete shipping tasks such as replenishment, consolidation, checking, running pallets, loading, and any other shipping related tasks
• Complete receiving tasks, such as unloading, cycle counts, putaways, and any other receiving and/or inventory related tasks
• Utilize Oracle desktop forms
• Ability to load/unload and putaway pallets from automation equipment (as applicable per site)
• Report damage of product, storage racks, forklifts, warehouse equipment, or any unsafe condition to management immediately
• Ability to verify that their work is accurate and complete report any discrepancies with your assigned tasks to management as needed
• Follow safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment
• Follow all cGMP guidelines and all SOPs/WIs
• Verify safety inspection sheet and/or iWarehouse checklist has been completed before operating a forklift
• Operate a forklift in a safe and efficient manner to retrieve or store material
• Always maintain work area clean, orderly, and inspection ready. This includes but is not limited to emptying trash cans, trash bins, sweeping, mopping, dusting racks, cleaning dock doors and other duties as assigned by supervisors or managers
• Other duties as assigned

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk and/or sit for extended periods of time
• Ability to perform tasks requiring repetitive motion and bending
• Must be able to bend, reach, twist, grasp items, lift, push and pull up to 50 lbs. Anything above 50 lbs requires secondary assistance
