Job summary

PL Developments, also known as PLD, is a leading manufacturer, packager, and distributor of over-the-counter (OTC) pharmaceutical products and consumer healthcare goods. As a Warehouse Operator II, you will perform a variety of tasks in a warehouse environment, including operating forklifts and pallet jacks to move goods, packing and unpacking items, and maintaining a safe, organized workspace.

Work Schedule: Monday – Friday 1:30 PM to 10:00 PM. Competitive pay with 2nd shift differential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 1–3 years internal and/or 3+ years external warehouse experience required.
• Must be able to operate specified forklift types (as applicable per site).
• Excellent math, analytical skills, and attention to detail.
• Detail oriented with good organization and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate a handheld according to WMS to perform sales order and work order picking and PO receiving.
• Complete shipping tasks including replenishment, consolidation, checking, and loading.
• Complete receiving tasks such as unloading, cycle counts, and putaways.
• Utilize Oracle desktop forms.
• Load/unload pallets from automation equipment as applicable.
• Report damage and safety concerns to management immediately.
• Verify work accuracy and report discrepancies to management.
• Follow safety procedures and cGMP guidelines.
• Operate forklift safely to retrieve or store material.
• Maintain a clean, orderly, inspection-ready work area.

Summary

As a Warehouse Operator II, employee will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks in a warehouse environment. This job involves operating equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks to move and transport goods, as well as packing and unpacking items, organizing inventory, and maintaining a safe and clean work environment.

Work Schedule

Monday – Friday 1:30 PM to 10:00 PM

Job Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• 1 – 3 years internal and/or 3+ years external warehouse experience required
• Must be able to operate a single, deep reach truck, counter-balanced forklift, rider, order picker and swing reach lift (as applicable per site)
• Excellent math, analytical skills, and attention to detail
• Detail oriented with good organization and communication skills
• Self-starter with the ability to meet internal company goals
• Demonstrates reliability and responsibility
• Ability to work effectively individually and/or a part of a team with minimal direct supervision
• Able to meet and/or exceed performance standards with minimal errors
• Willingness to work flexible schedules including weekends and holidays as needed

Position Responsibilities

• Operate a handheld according to WMS manual to perform the core tasks of sales order picking, work order picking, and purchase order receiving (as applicable per site)
• Complete shipping tasks such as replenishment, consolidation, checking, running pallets, loading, and any other shipping related tasks
• Complete receiving tasks, such as unloading, cycle counts, putaways, and any other receiving and/or inventory related tasks
• Utilize Oracle desktop forms
• Ability to load/unload and putaway pallets from automation equipment (as applicable per site)
• Report damage of product, storage racks, forklifts, warehouse equipment, or any unsafe condition to management immediately
• Ability to verify that their work is accurate and complete report any discrepancies with your assigned tasks to management as needed
• Follow safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment
• Follow all cGMP guidelines and all SOPs/WIs
• Verify safety inspection sheet and/or iWarehouse checklist has been completed before operating a forklift
• Operate a forklift in a safe and efficient manner to retrieve or store material
• Always maintain work area clean, orderly, and inspection ready. This includes but is not limited to emptying trash cans, trash bins, sweeping, mopping, dusting racks, cleaning dock doors and other duties as assigned by supervisors or managers
• Other duties as assigned

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk and/or sit for extended periods of time
• Ability to perform tasks requiring repetitive motion and bending
• Must be able to bend, reach, twist, grasp items, lift, push and pull up to 50 lbs. Anything above 50 lbs requires secondary assistance
