Job summary

Hellmann Worldwide Logistics is seeking a Warehouse Operator to perform freight-forwarding duties, handling cartons and pallets, and ensuring accurate labeling and documentation. The role emphasizes safety, accuracy, and efficient movement of goods in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

The position requires basic math, attention to detail, and the ability to follow checklists and processes. Overtime and weekend work may be required as part of duties.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent; work experience considered in lieu

Responsibilities

• Warehouse – Freight Forwarding
• Handle cartons, pallets and materials with care to prevent damage
• Labeling, stenciling and writing on cartons and documents
• Sort and organize cartons, pallets and materials
• Recycle or dispose of cardboard boxes as needed
• Verify exact part numbers and quantities while avoiding damage
• Report product damages and discrepancies promptly
• Re-pack damaged or out-of-spec product as needed
• Maintain accountability and proper use of company assets
• Use scanner interfaces to record transactions
• Utilize systems to identify discrepancies and create labels/work instructions
• Move unitized pallets of product and materials efficiently
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
• Work safely, accurately, and efficiently within time frames
• Strive for 100% customer satisfaction and continuous improvement
• Perform other duties as assigned
