Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; typically warehousing experience.
• Forklift certification typically required within 3 to 6 months of hire; valid driver's license preferred.
• Ability to operate hand and power tools and forklift when required.
• Ability to read, comprehend and complete basic checklists and forms.

Responsibilities

• Develop and provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers.
• Execute manual labor such as picking inventory, counting cargo, and loading goods; use hand tools and pallet jacks.
• Coordinate receipt, storage, and distribution of materials within the assigned area; assemble orders and move materials between locations.
• Sort and place materials on racks, shelves, pallets or bins according to size, type, color, product code and related characteristics.
• Potential opportunity to serve as lead operator; assist with training new hires.
