Responsibilities include forklift operation, loading/unloading, proper labeling, and maintaining accurate records while working with others and under supervision.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a warehouse or logistics environment.
• Proven experience operating forklifts and other material handling equipment. (Forklift certification preferred).
• Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) frequently and perform physical tasks such as bending, stooping, and standing for extended periods.
• Basic computer skills for inventory management systems.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfillment and record keeping.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of safety procedures and best practices in a warehouse setting.
• Must be able to work in varying weather conditions as some work may be performed outdoors.
• Valid driver's license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receive incoming materials and equipment, verify quantities against purchase orders, and inspect for damages or discrepancies.
• Unload and load trucks using appropriate material handling equipment, such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
• Store materials in designated locations, ensuring proper labeling, organization, and accessibility.
• Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently, completing daily inspections and reporting any malfunctions.
• Pick and pack orders accurately according to work orders or shipping requests.
• Prepare shipments, including banding, wrapping, and labeling, to ensure safe and timely delivery.
• Maintain accurate inventory records through manual and/or computerized systems.
• Perform cycle counts and assist with physical inventories as required.
• Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and free of safety hazards.
• Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including wearing appropriate PPE.
• Assist with other warehouse duties and projects as assigned by supervision.
