Job summary

PL Developments, also known as PLD, is a leading manufacturer, packager, and distributor of OTC pharmaceutical products and consumer healthcare goods. PLD is seeking a Warehouse Operator II to perform order picking, packing, receiving, and forklift operations in a fast-paced distribution setting.

The role emphasizes accuracy, safety, and teamwork, with a 2nd shift schedule (1:30 PM to 10:00 PM) and potential weekend/holiday flexibility. Training on WMS and cGMP compliance will be provided.

Qualifications

• Experience in warehouse operations including pick, pack, receive, and inventory control.
• Ability to operate forklift and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
• Strong math, analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent organization and communication, able to work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Operate handheld devices for sales order picking, work order picking and receiving tasks as applicable.
• Perform shipping tasks including replenishment, consolidation, loading and related duties.
• Perform receiving tasks such as unloading, cycle counts, putaways and inventory checks.
• Load/unload and putaway pallets using appropriate equipment and maintain safety norms.

SUMMARY:

As a Warehouse Operator II, employee will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks in a warehouse environment. This job involves operating equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks to move and transport goods, as well as packing and unpacking items, organizing inventory, and maintaining a safe and clean work environment.

Work Schedule: Monday – Friday 1:30 PM to 10:00 PM

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• 1 – 3 years internal and/or 3+ years external warehouse experience required
• Must be able to operate a single, deep reach truck, counter-balanced forklift, rider, order picker and swing reach lift (as applicable per site)
• Excellent math, analytical skills, and attention to detail
• Detail oriented with good organization and communication skills
• Self-starter with the ability to meet internal company goals
• Demonstrates reliability and responsibility
• Ability to work effectively individually and/or a part of a team with minimal direct supervision
• Able to meet and/or exceed performance standards with minimal errors
• Willingness to work flexible schedules including weekends and holidays as needed

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Operate a handheld according to WMS manual to perform the core tasks of sales order picking, work order picking, and purchase order receiving (as applicable per site)
• Complete shipping tasks such as replenishment, consolidation, checking, running pallets, loading, and any other shipping related tasks
• Complete receiving tasks, such as unloading, cycle counts, putaways, and any other receiving and/or inventory related tasks
• Ability to load/unload and putaway pallets from automation equipment (as applicable per site)
• Report damage of product, storage racks, forklifts, warehouse equipment, or any unsafe condition to management immediately
• Ability to verify that their work is accurate and complete report any discrepancies with your assigned tasks to management as needed
• Follow safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment
• Follow all cGMP guidelines and all SOPs/WIs
• Verify safety inspection sheet and/or iWarehouse checklist has been completed before operating a forklift
• Operate a forklift in a safe and efficient manner to retrieve or store material
• Always maintain work area clean, orderly, and inspection ready. This includes but is not limited to emptying trash cans, trash bins, sweeping, mopping, dusting racks, cleaning dock doors and other duties as assigned by supervisors or managers
• Other duties as assigned

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Ability to stand, walk and/or sit for extended periods of time
• Ability to perform tasks requiring repetitive motion and bending
• Must be able to bend, reach, twist, grasp items, lift, push and pull up to 50 lbs. Anything above 50 lbs requires secondary assistance
