Job summary

ADM in Des Moines, IA is seeking a Warehouse Operator I to safely perform shipping, receiving and inventory control tasks. This hourly role runs Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m.

to 5:30 p.m., with overtime as needed and potential shift changes to meet production needs. Responsibilities include operating forklifts and floor sweepers, staging loads, unloading deliveries, keeping accurate inventory counts, reporting paperwork, and supporting other warehouse operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Prior manufacturing experience preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Operates forklifts and floor sweeper.
• Accurately stages shipping loads.
• Accurately receives and unloads bulk material deliveries.
• Accurate reporting with necessary paperwork.
• Maintain organized and accurate inventory counts.
• Load and unload trucks as required.
• Ability and willingness to learn and flex to help in all areas of warehouse operations.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Plant Leadership.
• Overtime may be required.
