Job summary

MilliporeSigma's Allentown, PA site is seeking a Warehouse Operator 1 to support the shipment of customer orders by selecting, checking, packing and unpacking inbound and outbound shipments following established procedures and hazmat rules.

You will pull and stage materials, label accurately, and ensure order accuracy and stockroom organization. The role requires attention to detail and safe handling of materials, with typical hours Monday to Friday and occasional overtime/weekend hours.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1+ year of warehouse or manufacturing experience preferred.
• Experience with pallet jack operation.
• Experience with packaging equipment and labeling.
• Experience with PC and printer operation.

Responsibilities

• Check order documents and verify chemicals, lot numbers, weights against packing instructions.
• Accurately pull and stage materials from storage locations to ensure order accuracy.
• Package materials and apply labeling in accordance with procedures and hazmat regulations.
• Stage finished boxes for metering and shipping and distribute orders to the correct area.
• Use appropriate equipment for order size and weight.
• Unload inbound shipments and unpack, distributing materials to storage locations.
• Store and organize unpacked items and packing materials; perform shelf maintenance.
• Keep work stations and stock areas clean and free of debris.
