Job description

Role Summary

The Warehouse Operator I is essential to ensuring our product leaves the brewery and reaches our consumers with the highest level of quality. This role involves receiving and storing raw materials, preparing products for shipping, managing inventory, and maintaining the overall cleanliness and organization of the warehouse.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for receiving and storing raw materials for brewing, packaging, and e-commerce.
• Handles, stores, and prepares for shipping all packaging goods and raw materials without damage.
• Follows the shipping schedule and ensures all products are ready for pickup.
• Follows the delivery schedule and ensures sufficient space is available for arriving items.
• Ensures inventory is properly labeled and stored according to Athletic, EH&S, and SQF Standards.
• Arranges warehouse and cold box in an organized fashion and keeps all warehouse areas clean at all times.
• Stages all necessary packaging for production runs based on planning needs.
• Utilizes equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks to manage facility inventory movement, including loading and unloading of transport vehicles safely.
• Completes all safety checklists for equipment at the start of each shift.
• Performs daily inventory audits and spot checks as assigned by warehouse leadership.
• Maintains overall cleanliness and organization of the entire Warehouse department.
• Other duties, responsibilities, and activities may be assigned at any time with or without notice.

Skills and Experience

• Certified forklift operator with prior experience in forklift operation.
• Basic skills in using Excel, Word, email, Google Sheets.
• ERP experience is a plus, especially NetSuite.
• Must be able to effectively communicate in English both verbally and written.

Salary: Commensurate with experience – Starting rate: $23 per hour
