Evonik in Hopewell, VA seeks a Warehouse Operator I to join our distribution team. You will handle order picking, putaways, packing, and shipping in a fast-paced warehouse, using SAP WM and RF scanners while following ISO procedures.

Candidates should have a high school diploma, 1+ year in warehouse operations, and forklift certification is preferred. This role emphasizes accuracy, safety, and teamwork within our global organization.

• 1+ years experience in all phases of warehouse operations.

• Knowledge of computer applications.
• Basic math skills.
• Must be able to physically lift 50 pounds and handle 115 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Process order picks in SAP WM by grouping and selecting orders to meet shipping requirements.
• Complete stock putaways and material staging and move raw materials to production areas.
• Prepare customer orders for shipment with labeling, documentation, and audits; assist with truck loading when required.
• Receive inbound freight by matching deliveries to open purchase orders and recording receipts in SAP.
• Maintain inventory accuracy through daily SAP checks, counts, reconciliation, and correction of discrepancies.
• Execute shipping activities with final audits, postings in SAP, and on-schedule outbound orders.
• Follow SAP WM functions, RF/barcode scanning, ISO procedures, and hazardous-material shipping regulations; maintain safety standards.

Must follow ISO procedures in all phases of warehouse operations. Performs SAP functions with-in the WM module. Knowledge of IATA, IMDG and 49 CFR hazardous regulations for shipment of materials.
