Job summary

Evonik Group in Birmingham, AL seeks a Warehouse Coordinator to oversee receipt, storage and distribution of materials in a GMP-compliant facility. You will ensure SAP MM updates, stock reporting, and safe operation of the site warehouse.

You will coordinate material movements, maintain a clean, organized area, and participate in continuous improvement of logistics while upholding safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required.
• 5+ years warehouse/material handling, shipping and receiving experience.
• GMP knowledge.
• Forklift operator certification.
• Excellent leadership skills.
• Computer skills: SAP MM, MS Office, Excel, inventory management.

Responsibilities

• Receive, store, and issue materials, equipment, and other items from stockroom or storage yard.
• Update all material movements in SAP (incoming receipts, shipments, transfers).
• Receive GMP materials per SOP, ensure proper labeling and storage.
• Prepare and ship finished products per SOP.
• Maintain a clean, organized warehouse and ensure controlled access areas are locked.
• Transfer items received on wooden pallets to plastic pallets per site SOP.
