Job summary

MillenniumSoft Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Operator/Forklift Operator in Covington, GA for a 12-month contract. You will move materials using forklifts, conveyors, cranes, handcarts, and power trucks, supporting production and shipping.

The role requires 2+ years warehouse experience, basic math and English literacy, and the ability to follow SOPs in a fast-paced, quality-driven environment. Workdays are Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM, with a 40-hour week.

Qualifications

• 2+ years warehouse experience or related experience and/or training.
• Basic skills training in an analytical / scientific method or operational process area (e.g., material handling and management).
• Effective communication skills readable by coworkers and supervisor.
• Ability to read, write, interpret English and perform basic math.
• Ability to work in a metrics-driven environment.
• General computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Move materials, parts, assemblies and finished products using forklifts, conveyors, cranes, handcarts and power trucks.
• May maintain records and follow prescribed steps within SOPs.
• Develop skills in basic tasks and processes within one area.
• Work under defined supervision following quality guidelines.

Job Description -

• Uses a variety of equipment such as forklifts, conveyers, cranes, handcarts, and power trucks to move materials, parts, assemblies and finished products or goods within a plant, office or warehouse.
• May maintain records. Develops skills in basic tasks, techniques and procedures within one skill area / process / method.
• Applies basic knowledge and skills to complete routine tasks consisting of prescribed steps.
• Works within clearly defined SOPs and / or scientific methods and adheres to quality guidelines. Works under general to limited supervision.

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent PREFERRED, not required.

Experience

• 2+ years warehouse experience or related experience and/or training. Obtains and/or maintains appropriate licenses / training / certifications, as needed.
• Has basic skills training in an analytical / scientific method or operational process area (e.g., material handling and management, logistics, manufacturing production).
• Effective communication skills at a level co-workers and Team Lead/Supervisor can understand.
• Ability to read, write, interpret and comprehend documents written in English and perform basic math calculations.
• Ability to perform/operate in a metrics-driven environment.
• General computer skills.
