Job summary

MillenniumSoft Inc in Covington, GA is seeking an entry level Forklift Operator on a 12-month contract (W2). Hours are Monday to Friday, 10:30am-7pm. You will operate forklifts, conveyors, cranes, and related equipment to move materials within the plant or warehouse, while following SOPs and quality guidelines.

Requires a high school diploma or equivalent, 0–1 year warehouse experience, and basic English reading/writing with some computer skills. RF Scanner knowledge is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.

• RF Scanner knowledge is helpful but not required.
• Basic math and reading comprehension in English.

Responsibilities

• Move materials, parts, assemblies and finished goods using forklifts and other equipment.

• Works within clearly defined SOPs and / or scientific methods and adheres to quality guidelines.
• Works under general to limited supervision.

• Knowledge of RF Scanner is helpful but not required.
• Obtains and/or maintains appropriate licenses / training / certifications, as needed.
• Has basic skills training in an analytical / scientific method or operational process area (e.g., material handling and management, logistics, manufacturing production).
• Effective communication skills at a level co-workers and Team Lead/Supervisor can understand.
• Ability to read, write, interpret and comprehend documents written in English and perform basic math calculations.
• Ability to perform/operate in a metrics-driven environment. General computer skills.
