Job summary

N/A is seeking a Warehouse Tech responsible for receiving roles for USDA Commodity foods and inventory control. The role involves using pallet jacks and forklifts to unload products from trailers and ensure accurate counts of inventory.

The position requires manual handling of items, quality checks, and the preparation of products for distribution to participants. It also includes assisting with order issuance, loading, and monthly reporting while maintaining confidentiality and safety.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 1-5 years of office-related experience preferred.
• Forklift experience or training certification preferred (certification provided).

Responsibilities

• Manually counts all inventory received.
• Stack and palletize food.
• Track monthly inventory reports (Damaged/Temperature Chart).
• Inspects food for quality and records damaged product.
• Pre-weights and bags fresh produce before distribution.
• Assist with issuing participant orders in SYGNAL system as needed.
• Assist participants with carrying and loading food orders in vehicles.
• Assist with delivering monthly food orders to participants.
• Answer calls, take messages and forward to the appropriate person.
• Treat participants respectfully and maintain confidentiality.
