Job summary

DSV Air & Sea Inc. in Delaware is seeking a Warehouse Operator to create, coordinate and complete shipments between the company and clients. You will coordinate with off-site locations, suppliers and vendors to meet deadlines and track shipments.

The role requires forklift experience, at least 3 years in logistics and customer service, and the ability to work with minimal supervision. You will unload and load goods, verify documents, and maintain safe, organized warehouse operations.

Qualifications

• Forklift experience required.
• Minimum 3 years in customer service and logistics.
• Dangerous Goods Qualification is a plus.
• Forklift operation and certification.
• Some experience with Warehouse Management Systems.
• English preferred (reading, writing and verbal).

Responsibilities

• Performs daily warehouse activities for an assigned shift or area.
• Adheres to warehouse work instructions and safety policies.
• Meets objectives in performance, safety, quality, and customer service.
• Collaborates with supervisor and freight teams to improve service.
• Unloads inbound shipments and stages products.
• Loads/unloads products using proper handling techniques.
• Verifies driver, trailer, and bills for each shipment.
• Operates forklift and maintains a clean, safe work environment.
• Keeps desk/office area organized.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
