Job summary

DSV Air & Sea Inc. is hiring a Warehouse Operator in USA - Atlanta. You will create, coordinate and complete shipments, work with off-site locations and vendors, and ensure schedules are met.

You may act as a customer service contact and support reporting and paperwork to ensure accurate transactions. The role requires forklift experience, at least 3 years in logistics/customer service, and familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems.

Qualifications

• Must have forklift experience.
• English preferred (reading, writing and verbal).
• Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience in customer service and logistics (will consider an equivalent combination of education and/or experience).
• Material Handling Certification
• Dangerous Goods Qualification
• Forklift Operation and Certification
• Some experience with Warehouse Management Systems

Responsibilities

• Performs daily activities for an assigned shift or within an assigned area or function.
• Adheres to specific warehouse work instructions for receiving, labeling, storing, shipping and value add services.
• Meets company objectives in the areas of performance, safety, quality, leadership, and customer service.
• Works with the supervisor, warehouse manager and freight forwarding teams to identify areas to improve/enhance overall service to the client.
• Unloads inbound shipments safely and move products to the correct destination.
• Efficiently stage, stack and load the merchandise in the appropriate areas
• Loads/Unloads product correctly using the appropriate handling techniques.
• Verifies the driver, trailer, and bills are all for that specific carrier and location.
