Our Frontenac, Kansas facility is now accepting applications for experienced Warehouse Operators on 2nd and 4th shifts - nights. Working hours are 6p to 6:20a. Candidates must have forklift experience in order to be considered for these positions. Competitive wages and excellent benefits. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES and ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Loading of outbound and unloading of inbound Finished Goods and materials.
- Operation of conventional forklifts, as well as all other required equipment.
- Accurately identifies and labels materials in accordance with Company warehouse storage policies and procedures.
- Efficiently performs all activities related to staging, transfer, stacking, and storage of finished goods in warehouse storage locations.
- Accurately logs all inventory data for inbound and outbound orders.
- Identifies and adheres to all inbound / outbound shipment notations, policies and procedures.
- Accurately and efficiently performs "picking" of mixed pallet order quantities and ensures data / information is recorded accurately and legibly.
- Ensures proper stock rotation by following lot number identification processes and procedures and FIFO methodology.
- Receiving of all inbound raw ingredients, packaging, pallets and plant supplies
- Operation of stand up and conventional forklifts, as well as all other required equipment
- Maintains accurate Quality and Unloading documentation, which includes performance of verification and accurate documentation of lot numbers and all other required information for inbound loads of material and supplies
- Accurately identifies and labels inbound materials in accordance with Company warehouse storage policies and procedures
- Manages storage, movement and transfers of materials inventory in storage rack and/or warehouse locations
- Ensures proper stock rotation by following lot number identification and FIFO methodology
- Accurately logs inventory data on daily inventory tracking sheet
- Performs data entry functions related to ingredient transfers/movement/usage
- Stages Packaging Materials and Ingredients needed for production
- Performs various activities directly related to unloading of bulk and liquid materials
- Monitors the Receiving and Unload processes for all inbound loads
- Coordinates unload pit startup and ingredient verification with mill room
- Pulling bags off of packaging line and moving to warehouse area
- Performs general housekeeping (warehouse areas, floors, docks / doors, trailers, and office).
- Independently takes initiative to organize warehouse storage areas and manages floor stock by lot number.
- Ensures all trailers are appropriately locked and secured.
- Complies with all Company policies and procedures.
- Maintains accurate Quality, Loading and Unloading documentation.
- Must be able to demonstrate a history of good work attendance, good communication skills, the ability to work well with others, and the willingness to work overtime, weekends, and holidays.
- Follow Good Manufacturing Practices.
- Maintain a clean, sanitary and safe work area.
- Follow all required work safe practices. This would include wearing of all required PPE in designated areas, confined space safety, safe chemical handling, fall restraints, etc.
- Responsible for food safety, pre-requisite programs and food quality related to designated area.
- Report any food safety, quality or safety related issues to management immediately.
QUALIFICATIONS

Education/Training: High School Diploma/GED - Highly preferred
Experience: Two years forklift operation in a manufacturing environment - Required
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- Able to climb ladders and perform tasks on a ladder or at heights
- Ability to operate powered equipment (Fork Trucks / Scissor Lifts)
- Be able to lift up to 50 pounds on a routine basis
- Push / Pull up to 100 pounds on an occasional basis
- Ability to work outside in all types of weather
- Able to walk and stand on hard surfaces for long periods of time
PAY - $19 / hr plus $2 / hr shift differential for night shift
