Warehouse Forklift Operator: 2pm - 10:30pm

Join us as a Warehouse Forklift Operator: 2pm - 10:30pm at STERIS Healthcare United States.

Position Summary: The Forklift Operator is responsible for safely operating material-handling equipment to move, load, and organize inventory within the distribution center, ensuring efficient and accurate flow of goods.

Shift: Monday - Friday 2pm - 10:30pm

Responsibilities include:

• Delivering materials on time to various areas of the plant or Distribution Center.
• Preparing finished goods for transportation, loading/unloading trailers, and storing products correctly.
• Counting and verifying materials, maintaining proper documentation.
• Assembling, weighing, and staging raw materials and packaging components.
• Occasionally palletizing finished or unfinished products.
• Refueling and maintaining equipment, ensuring cleanliness and proper operation.
• Operating forklifts and other material-handling equipment for loading/unloading.
• Moving and arranging drums, weighing raw materials, and calculating usage.
• Gathering and inputting quality and inventory data.

Qualifications:

Required: HS Diploma or GED, manual dexterity, basic reading, math, writing, data entry skills, ability to read instructions and labels, ability to wear PPE, willingness to become forklift certified.

Preferred: 2+ years forklift experience, forklift certification, experience with scales, ability to operate motor-driven equipment.

Physical Requirements:

May need to lift ~60 pounds, climb heights of ~10 feet, sit for long periods, and have good hand/eye coordination.
