Job summary

MAPEI Corporation, a global leader in construction chemicals and building materials, is hiring a Warehouse Operator in Houston, TX. You will pull and prep orders, process inbound/outbound shipments, and maintain accurate inventory while safely operating forklifts and packing materials.

The role offers competitive pay up to $18.90/hr with shift differentials and a strong benefits package including medical, vacation, 401(k) matching, and tuition reimbursement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, or logistics environment preferred.
• Forklift certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Pull and prepare orders while maintaining an organized shipping and receiving area.
• Process inbound and outbound shipments and verify accuracy against documents.
• Load and unload pallets and containers safely and efficiently.
• Pack shipping containers and product bags according to order specifications.
• Ensure accurate inventory counts and track orders to maintain proper documentation.
• Sort and organize materials on racks, shelves, or bins based on size, type, and product code.
• Operate warehouse equipment including sit-down, stand-up, cherry-pickers, clamp, and reach forklifts.
• Coordinate and document shipments, including preparing Bills of Lading and tracking records.
• Report discrepancies or quality concerns to supervisors promptly.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment, adhering to all safety regulations and protocols.
