Job summary

MAPEI Corporation in California is seeking a Warehouse Operator to manage inventory, prep shipments, and support efficient warehouse operations. This role emphasizes safety, accuracy, and the ability to perform in a fast-paced environment.

You will handle order preparation, shipping/receiving, pallet handling, and documentation while maintaining organized spaces and adhering to safety protocols. Forklift experience is a plus and overtime flexibility may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, or logistics environment preferred.
• Forklift certification is a plus.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are required.
• Ability to lift up to 55 lbs independently; up to 100 lbs with assistance.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexibility for overtime and shift hours as required.

Responsibilities

• Pull and prepare orders while maintaining an organized shipping and receiving area.
• Process inbound and outbound shipments and verify accuracy against documents.
• Load and unload pallets and containers safely and efficiently.
• Pack shipping containers and product bags according to order specifications.
• Ensure accurate inventory counts and track orders to maintain proper documentation.
• Sort and organize materials on racks, shelves, or bins based on size, type, and product code.
• Operate various types of warehouse equipment, including sit-down, stand-up, cherry-pickers, clamp, and reach forklifts.
• Coordinate and document shipments, including preparing Bills of Lading and tracking records.
• Report any discrepancies or quality concerns to supervisors promptly.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment, adhering to all safety regulations and protocols.
• Perform additional duties as required.
