Job summary

Watco Transloading seeks a Warehouse Operator at Port Sutton, Tampa, FL. The role supports unloading/loading operations for bulk and packaged goods from vessels, railcars, trucks, and storage facilities, ensuring safety and policy compliance.

The position is 7:00 AM - 4:30 PM, $20.00 - $23.00 hourly, with extended hours including nights and weekends as scheduled. Indoor/outdoor work in varying weather conditions; TWIC and driver’s license required.

Qualifications

• One year of work experience preferred.
• Experience operating industrial rolling equipment (e.g., front-end loader or bulldozer) preferred.
• Must obtain and maintain a Transportation Workers Identification Card (TWIC) as required by USCG/DHS regulations.
• Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license and meet company insurability requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist other operators in unloading/loading bulk and packaged commodities to/from vessel, railcars, trucks and storage facilities.
• Participate in safety and environmental training and daily briefings.
• Report unsafe conditions to management; follow policies and procedures.
• Keep terminal grounds clean and perform basic maintenance on equipment.
• Be on time and ready to work; schedule may include nights and weekends; 24-hour call-in availability.
