Job summary

MAPEI Corporation is seeking a Warehouse Operator to support inventory control, packaging, and shipment preparation at our New York area facility. This role emphasizes safety, efficiency, and accuracy in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

You will handle order pulling, inbound/outbound shipments, pallet movement, and documentation, ensuring precise inventory and orderly operations. Overtime and shift flexibility are required as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, or logistics environment preferred.
• Forklift certification is a plus.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to lift up to 55 lbs. independently; up to 100 lbs. with assistance.
• Stand for extended periods and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexibility for overtime and shift hours as required.

Responsibilities

• Pull and prepare orders while maintaining an organized shipping and receiving area.
• Process inbound and outbound shipments and verify accuracy against documents.
• Load and unload pallets and containers safely and efficiently.
• Pack shipping containers and product bags according to order specifications.
• Ensure accurate inventory counts and track orders to maintain proper documentation.
• Sort and organize materials on racks, shelves, or bins based on size, type, and product code.
• Operate forklifts and warehouse equipment safely.
• Coordinate and document shipments, including Bills of Lading and tracking records.
