Pay: $23.50/hr (+$1 per hour shift differential for night shift)

Shift:
Days: 6am-6:30pm (rotating 2-2-3 schedule)
Nights: 6pm-6:30am (rotating 2-2-3 schedule)

Job Summary

Operate power equipment to move, locate, stack, load, unload, and count merchandise, ensuring safe and efficient vehicle operation. Responsibilities include storing incoming merchandise, pulling products for shipment, staging ingredients, hooking up totes, delivering packaging materials, unloading bulk ingredients, and maintaining safety standards. Basic computer skills, a positive attitude, good hand-eye coordination, dependability, and willingness to learn are essential.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Build, adjust, and secure pallets for safe transport.
• Pick products from warehouse racks accurately using purchase and sales orders.
• Use handheld scanners or written documents to locate and fulfill orders.
• Maintain accurate inventory and convey completed orders.
• Handle damaged or defective goods appropriately.
• Verify items with documents to ensure accuracy.
• Transport merchandise from receiving to staging and to freight trucks.
• Receive and store raw materials, unload ingredients safely into silos.
• Keep aisles clear by stacking and storing pallets, sweeping for cleanliness.
• Perform daily inspections of powered trucks and report findings.
• Mentor new personnel in proper equipment operation.
• Operate powered trucks following safety guidelines.
• Collaborate with warehouse departments for seamless operations.

Qualifications

• Ability to apply basic math skills.
• Problem-solving and data analysis skills.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 1-3 years in warehouse, logistics, or distribution.
• Forklift experience preferred.
• Knowledge of warehouse processes and inventory systems.

Additional Skills

Ability to read reports, communicate effectively, and perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds.

Work Environment
