Job summary

Land O’Lakes Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Operator for the 2nd shift. The role involves coordinating inbound/outbound deliveries, packing/loading final products with a forklift, and assisting with cycle counts.

You will operate daily on a forklift and use other plant machinery as needed, contributing to a member-owned cooperative focused on safe, efficient warehousing. Key duties include following safety procedures, meeting deadlines, and maintaining organized work areas.

Qualifications

• 1 year of warehousing experience.
• Basic computer and math skills.
• Able to read, write, comprehend, follow verbal and written instructions.
• Willingness to learn new skills, problem-solve and troubleshoot.
• Strong collaboration, communication skills, and is always respectful.

• Processes work orders by selecting correct products from racks, palletizing them, shrink-wrapping, and staging the product order for delivery.

• Ensures all standard operating procedures are followed.
• Maintains cleanliness and organization of work area.
• Successful forklift certification required.
• Other duties as assigned

Warehouse Operator - 2nd Shift

Pay: $27.50 per hour plus Shift Differential: $1.00 per hour
Shift & Working Hours: 2nd Shift; 3:00PM to 1:30PM; Weekends/Overtime/Holidays as needed.

In this role, you’ll be a key member of our Land O’Lakes, Inc. warehousing team, performing front-line processes that ensure successful delivery of final products. You’ll gain skills and experience in warehouse operations including coordinating inbound/outbound deliveries, packing/loading final products using a forklift, assisting with cycle counts, and organizing areas of the warehouse. Required Experience and Skills

• Must be 18 years or older
• 1 year of warehousing experience
• Basic computer and math skills
• Able to read, write, comprehend, follow verbal and written instructions

• Strong collaboration, communication skills, and is always respectful

Preferred Experience

• 2+ years of warehousing work experience
• Forklift experience

Physical Requirements

• Able to lift/carry up to 60 pounds
• Frequent movement including walking, standing, bending/stooping, turning, twisting, pushing, pulling, raising arms, lifting, climbing and other active movements
• Performing duties while wearing personal protective equipment
• Working in temperature zones that include cold and/or hot environments for extended periods and may include areas where dust and chemicals are present
