Meyer Distributing is seeking a Warehouse Operator to join the Orlando, FL team. The role loads/unloads trucks, stocks inventory, pulls stock, and stages products for shipping while operating forklift/manlift machinery to ensure accuracy and timely performance.

The position offers an hourly rate and a stable 40-hour, five-day schedule with a second shift. Responsibilities include stocking, order picking with scanners, palletizing, inventory counting, and maintaining a safe workspace.

Qualifications

• Forklift/Manlift operation required.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
• Ability to engage in repetitious bending and lifting.

Responsibilities

• Unload trucks and distribute products to the appropriate area.
• Use scanners to place parts in bins and pull orders.
• Stock parts on racks in proper location.
• Fill orders from warehouse stock and distribute to shipping or pickup areas.
• Place products on pallets, wrap and band as needed.
• Assist in counting and reconciling inventory.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Wear protective footwear and work safely at all times.
• Move products manually and with forklift/manlift assistance.
• Load trucks and secure product.

Meyer Distributing is looking for a Warehouse Operator to join our Orlando, FL team!

The Warehouse Operator loads and unloads trucks, stocks products in appropriate locations, pulls stock and stages products for shipping, and operates powered industrial equipment (forklift/manlift), ensuring accuracy and timeliness of all job functions.

Hourly Rate for Operator:

• $19.00/Hr. without overtime

Schedule (End times may vary):

• Stable schedule: 5-day work week ~40 hours
• 2nd Shift: Monday - Friday: 11:00am-8:00pm & Rotating Sundays: 8:30 am-5:00pm

Requirements for Warehouse Workers and Operators:

• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds
• Ability to engage in repetitious bending and lifting
• Ability to operate equipment - forklift/manlift (cherry picker)
• Must obtain forklift and manlift certification within 3 months
• Must be able to work up to 25 feet above ground level
• Must not be afraid of heights

Warehouse Worker and Operator duties include but are not limited to:

• Unload trucks and distribute products to appropriate area of warehouse for restocking
• Use scanners to place parts in proper bins and pulls orders
• Stock parts on racks in proper location
• Fill orders from warehouse stock and distributes items to shipping or to designated route driver/customer pick-up staging area
• Place product on pallets and wraps it in film and bands it using banding equipment
• Assist in counting and reconciliation of physical inventory
• Keep warehouse and work area clean and organized at all times
• Wear protective toed shoes and work in a safe manner at all times
• Move products manually and with the assistance of a forklift and manlift
• Load trucks and secures product
• All other duties as assigned
