Job summary

Meyer Distributing in Newport, MN is looking for a Warehouse Operator to manage inventory in their distribution center. Responsibilities include loading and unloading trucks, staging products for shipping, and maintaining accurate stock levels.

The ideal candidate must possess a high school diploma, have warehouse experience, and be comfortable operating forklifts. A variety of benefits including medical, dental, and vacation days are offered along with competitive pay of $20.00 - $22.00 per hour.

Warehouse Operator Role

The Warehouse Operator loads and unloads trucks, stocks products in appropriate locations, pulls stock and stages products for shipping, and ensures accuracy and timeliness of all job functions.

Preferred Experience

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Minimum of one month on‑the‑job training required.
• Previous warehouse experience and ability to operate a forklift or man lift (cherry picker).

Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
• Ability to engage in repetitive bending and lifting.
• Ability to operate a forklift or man lift (cherry picker).
• Must obtain forklift and manlift certification within 3 months.
• Must be able to work up to 25 feet above ground level and not be afraid of heights.
• Position based out of Newport, MN.

Schedule & Pay

Sunday – Thursday, 2nd Shift, 12:00 pm – 9:00 pm – $22.00 per hour.
Monday – Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm – $20.00 per hour.

Duties

• Unload trucks and distribute products for restocking.
• Use scanners to place parts in proper bins and pull orders.
• Stock parts on racks in proper location.
• Fill orders from warehouse stock and distribute items to shipping or to designated route driver/customer pick‑up staging area.
• Place product on pallets, wrap in film, and band using banding equipment.
• Assist in counting and reconciling physical inventory.
• Keep warehouse and work area clean and organized at all times.
• Wear protective to‑ed shoes and work safely.
• Move products manually and with the assistance of a forklift and manlift.
• Load trucks and secure product.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
