Meyer Distributing in Jasper, IN is hiring a Warehouse Worker to join the team. The role loads/unloads trucks, stocks and pulls stock, and operates forklifts/manlifts to keep operations efficient and accurate.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds
• Engage in repetitious bending and lifting
• Operate forklift/manlift equipment
• Must obtain forklift and manlift certification within 3 months
• Able to work up to 25 feet above ground level
• Not afraid of heights

Responsibilities

• Unload trucks and distribute products to appropriate area of warehouse for restocking
• Use scanners to place parts in proper bins and pulls orders
• Stock parts on racks in proper location
• Fill orders from warehouse stock and distribute items to shipping or to designated route driver/customer pickup staging area
• Place product on pallets and wrap with film/bands using banding equipment
• Assist in counting and reconciliation of physical inventory
• Keep warehouse and work area clean and organized at all times
• Move products manually and with forklift and manlift
• Load trucks and secure product
• All other duties as assigned

Meyer Distributing is looking for Warehouse Workers to join our Jasper, IN team!

The Warehouse Worker loads and unloads trucks, stocks products in appropriate locations, pulls stock and stages products for shipping, and operates powered industrial equipment (forklift/manlift), ensuring accuracy and timeliness of all job functions.

Hourly Rate for Warehouse Worker:

• Up to $20/hour, with opportunities for increases through performance reviews

Schedule (End times may vary):

• Stable schedule: 5-day work week ~40 hours
• Monday - Thursday: 12:45pm - 8:30pm
• Rotating Friday/Saturday: Friday: 11:00am – 8:30pm OR Saturday: 9:00am – 6:00pm

Requirements for Warehouse Worker:

• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds
• Ability to engage in repetitious bending and lifting
• Ability to operate equipment - forklift/manlift (cherry picker)
• Must obtain forklift and manlift certification within 3 months
• Must be able to work up to 25 feet above ground level
• Must not be afraid of heights
