Job summary

DFA/Kemps Dairy in Iowa is hiring fast-paced warehouse operators to perform picking, pulling, building orders, and palletizing products. You may work at any station or line and operate equipment in cooler, freezer, or dock environments.

The role offers $26.90 per hour with a Mon-Sat 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM schedule, Sundays off with a rotating day. We provide comprehensive benefits and opportunities for growth within a farmer-owned cooperative.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Able to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure.
• Effective verbal and written communications skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Pick, pull, and build orders for outgoing deliveries.
• Palletize products and load/unload shipments.
• Stage materials and operate equipment in cooler, freezer, or dock environments.

JOB SUMMARY

Our DFA/Kemps Dairy has immediate job openings for fast paced and motivated warehouse operators to perform any combination of picking, pulling, and building orders, palletizing products, loading, unloading, and staging materials for outgoing delivery, and working any station or line that is assigned. Additionally, warehouse operators are responsible for safely operating various material and handling equipment and machinery within a warehouse, cooler, freezer or dock environment. REQUIREMENTS

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Able to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimal
• Effective verbal and written communications skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Must be able to pass all pre-employment screenings including drug, background and criminal checks
• Must be able to stand, walk, pull, push, reach and bend virtually the entire shift
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and assist others when lifting is necessary and manually stack and move cases up to 6-8 cases high
• Must be able to work in a wet environment and work in an environment where temperature is maintained at 35-40 degrees Fahrenheit
• Must be willing to work flexible hours including overtime, weekends and holidays
• May occasionally be exposed to cleaning chemicals
