Job summary

SITE Staffing Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Operator for the 1st shift (6:30am-2:30pm), Monday through Friday, in Milwaukee.

The role requires Stand-Up forklift experience, part-number verification, and accurate stocking and consolidation of materials in a safe, organized warehouse. You will be responsible for picking, packing, and shipping orders as needed, preparing documentation for receiving, and updating perpetual and open order records.

Qualifications

• High School/GED or equivalent experience.
• Power truck/forklift operation experience.

Responsibilities

• Verify part number, order number, and quantity on picking documents.
• Locate, stock, and consolidate materials in proper locations, accurately and safely.
• Prepare documentation for receiving and movements to maintain inventory accuracy.
• Perform computer transactions to update perpetual and open order files.
• Pick, pack, and ship customer orders as needed.
• Move skids, cartons, and drums using hand or powered equipment.
• Lift, pull, and push material as required.

Warehouse Operator 1st shift, 6:30am-2:30pm Monday through Friday Pay: $20-21/hour

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

• Must have Stand-Up Forklift experience
• Verify part number, order number, and quantity on picking documents.
• Operator is responsible for locating, stocking, and consolidating materials in proper warehouse locations in an accurate, organized, and safe manner.
• Preparing documentation for receiving and movements of material to insure accurate and timely maintenance of perpetual inventory and open order computer files.
• Performing computer transactions to update perpetual and open order computer files as required.
• Complete work output at required levels to approved standards.
• Responsible for picking, packing, and shipping customer orders as may become necessary.
• Responsible for picking, preparing and delivering kited jobs to production as may become necessary. Follow direction of coordinator and according to posted procedures and schedules.
• Operate and maintain a clean and safe workplace in accordance with company standards.
• Responsible for moving and transporting skids, cartons, and drums of materials using hand or powered material-moving equipment.
• Lifting, pulling, and pushing of material will be required often.
