HANSEN Technologies in Commerce, Georgia, seeks a warehouse associate to support materials handling, packing, and shipping for industrial refrigeration systems. You will move materials, pick orders, label items, and operate basic warehouse equipment in a dynamic team environment.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and good communication and math skills. Previous forklift experience is a plus, and overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1–3 months of related experience or training.
• Basic reading and writing skills for instructions and correspondence.
• Ability to communicate clearly with coworkers and customers.
• Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, percentages).
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and solve routine problems.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Comfort working in varying conditions (heat, cold, noise, outdoor exposure).
• Forklift operation capability (training required if applicable).

Responsibilities

• Read production schedules, customer orders, work orders, and shipping orders to determine materials to move or distribute.
• Move materials between receiving, production, storage, and shipping areas.
• Sort and store items on racks, shelves, or bins based on size, type, or product code.
• Pick, fill, and distribute orders, requisitions, and stock requests.
• Assemble customer orders and prepare them for shipping or packing.
• Label and mark materials with identifying information.
• Open containers such as bales, crates, and boxes.
• Record quantities of materials received and distributed.
• Weigh and count items to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Arrange stock parts for assembly by other workers.
• Use computers to input/retrieve records and operate shipping/labeling equipment (including UPS systems).
• Prepare packages and parcels for shipment.
• Compile worksheets or tickets from customer specifications.
• Operate a forklift to move or collect materials (if applicable).
• Complete requisition forms to order supplies.
• Work overtime as needed.
