Job summary

Hanes Companies is seeking a Plant Associate to join our warehouse team. The role involves processing orders on the warehouse floor, operating machinery, and driving a forklift to fulfill shipments efficiently.

The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in environments that vary with seasons, be able to stand for long periods, and maintain safety while meeting productivity targets.

Qualifications

• Able to inspect/operate cloth and machinery.
• Must have cooperative attitude necessary to work effectively with others.
• Must be able to follow verbal & written work instructions.
• Be Safety Conscious.
• Good communication skills (verbal & written).

Responsibilities

• Conform to all quality/safety/environmental requirements and procedures.
• Read and follow instructions on converting orders.
• Perform routine operations on machine (load, set-up, doff) - make necessary adjustments to meet quality standards.
• Production reporting to be neat and accurate.
• Ability to lift 75 – 100 pounds.
• Climb ladder to lace machine
• Operate sewing machine
• Measure and cut fabric
• Maintain a clean and orderly workplace.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Department Supervisor.
