Job summary

Gallo in South Carolina is seeking a dependable warehouse team member to operate clamp trucks and forklifts, pick customer orders, and support a safe, efficient operation.

You will use inventory systems, perform cycle counts, and help ensure accurate shipping, receiving, and storage while maintaining a clean, organized workspace.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or State-issued equivalency plus 1 year forklift, clamp lift or heavy machinery operations experience.
• Ability to learn and pass skills demonstrations, earning a minimum of 3 skills within 24 months from hire.
• Willing to work overtime and any assigned shift.
• Must be able to lift and move up to 60 lbs and be physically capable of performing all essential functions.

A Taste of What You'll Do

We’re looking for a dependable and safety-focused team member to join our warehouse and production support operation in a hands-on role that helps keep products moving efficiently and accurately. In this position, you’ll operate clamp trucks and forklifts to pick customer orders, load and unload trucks and rail cars, move finished goods into storage, and support a clean, organized workspace through routine floor scrubber operation. You’ll also help ensure products are handled correctly, inventory stays accurate, and work is completed in alignment with daily priorities.

Success in this role comes from attention to detail, a strong sense of urgency, and a commitment to teamwork. You’ll use warehouse management and inventory systems to scan product LPNs, perform cycle counts, complete data entry, update and close work orders, and help verify that pallet patterns, print, and packaging meet work order requirements. You’ll learn standard processes, stretch wrapper operations, and technical procedures while building new skills and contributing to continuous improvement efforts.

What You'll Need

• Required to work overtime as needed.

• Required to be physically capable of executing all essential functions of the job.
• Must be able to certify and re-certify Clamp Driver skills attained, as required.
• Must be able to operate and utilize the computerized inventory system.

• Required to comply with company GMP policies.
• Required to travel to company offices, sites, and/or meeting locations for onboarding, training, meetings, and events for development, department needs, and business delivery up to 5% of the time, with or without reasonable accommodation. How You'll Stand Out

• Current Forklift or Clamp Certification.
• Experience working in a high performing work team environment.
• Experience working in a lean production/six sigma, warehouse, or manufacturing environment.
• Experience with a Warehouse Management System.
