Position:

Warehouse Operator in Weyauwega, Wisconsin.

The Warehouse Operator is responsible for all areas of cold storage, shipping, and receiving. Responsibilities include weighing cheese, loading and unloading trucks, and inventory management. The role involves working closely with Plant Supervisors to maintain accurate inventory levels.

• Monday - Friday, 6:00 am - 3:00 pm

Role Responsibilities:

• Accurately weigh cheese at 640 scale and facilitate quality assurance tests such as customer tare weight checks.
• Rotate cheese to meet proper aging and temperature requirements.
• Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently, ensuring all seals are intact and correct.
• Check all paperwork for accuracy, including packing slips, purchase orders, and bills of lading.
• Promptly handle temperature-sensitive products.
• Label all incoming products and receiving/hold tags accurately.
• Inspect trailers for cleanliness and integrity, completing shipment inspection sheets.
• Prepare loads for shipment, ensuring quality assurance.
• Work with cheese graders by moving cheese in and out of coolers as needed.
• Maintain proper care and charging of forklifts, keeping safety inspection records.

Qualifications:

• Ability to walk, stand, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in a warehousing environment.
• Forklift experience or certification is preferred.

Work Location:

Our Weyauwega, WI, plant employs approximately 225 staff. The facility produces award-winning feta, aged cheddar, lactose, and reduced lactose whey.
