Job summary

Land O’Lakes, Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Operator to support Purina Animal Nutrition operations. You will operate a forklift, coordinate inbound/outbound deliveries, and pack/load final products with attention to safety and accuracy in a union facility.

The role requires 18+ years old, basic math, 1 year of experience, and the ability to lift up to 60 pounds. 2nd shift, Mon-Fri 2:30pm–11:00pm with overtime and possible weekend work.

• Ensures all standard operating procedures are followed.
• Maintains cleanliness and organization of work area.
• Successful forklift certification required.

Warehouse Operator

Pay: $27.35 per hour plus Shift Differential : $0.80 per hour

Shift & Working Hours: 2nd Shift 2:30pm to 11:00pm Monday-Friday, Weekends/Overtime/Holidays as needed, hours subject to business needs.

This is a Union Facility, and this position is covered by a Collective Bargaining Agreement.

In this role, you’ll be a key member of our Land O’Lakes, Inc. warehousing team, performing front-line processes that ensure successful delivery of final products. You’ll gain skills and experience in warehouse operations including coordinating inbound/outbound deliveries, packing/loading final products using a forklift, assisting with cycle counts, and organizing areas of the warehouse. You’ll operate daily on a forklift and use other plant machinery and equipment as needed. Join our team to become part of a member-owned co-op that is Rooted In Tomorrow.

• Able to lift/carry up to 60 pounds


• Frequent movement including walking, standing, bending/stooping, turning, twisting, pushing, pulling, raising arms, lifting, climbing and other active movements


• Performing duties while wearing personal protective equipment


• Working in temperature zones that include cold and/or hot environments for extended periods and may include areas where dust and chemicals are present
