Job description

As a Warehouse Operator, you will play a critical role in ensuring Cambria’s promise of quality and efficiency. This position is responsible for staging and preparing slabs for shipping, loading and unloading trucks, organizing inventory, and maintaining the sales distribution center in a clean and organized manner.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  1. Operate forklifts and overhead cranes safely and accurately.
  2. Build and verify customer orders, ensuring all slabs are correctly identified and loaded into delivery trucks.
  3. Maintain warehouse organization and cleanliness, keeping inventory levels accurate and accessible.
  4. Conduct daily safety inspections on equipment and report issues.
  5. Load and unload trailers with products of varying size and weight.
  6. Inspect slabs for material defects.
  7. Collaborate with colleagues across departments to achieve goals.
  8. Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Experience operating overhead cranes, forklifts with boom, and gators preferred.
  • Strong work ethic, commitment to quality and safety.
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills.
  • Proficiency with handheld scanners and basic computer applications.
  • Ability to work overtime as needed.
Education & Experience:
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • At least twelve months of experience or training as a warehouse operator.
Systems Knowledge:
  • Knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Oracle preferred.
Physical Requirements:
  • Lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Push/pull up to 100 lbs.
  • Stand for long periods.
  • Wear PPE provided by Cambria.
  • Participate in daily stretch and flex exercises.
  • Work outdoors in all weather conditions.
  • Walk up and down steps multiple times per shift.
  • Bend multiple times during shift.

Cambria’s starting hourly range for this position is $19.00 - $22.00, determined by role, level, and location. Compensation factors include work location, experience, and education.
