Job summary

Freudenberg Group is seeking a capable warehouse associate to unload, inspect, and store shipments, and to prepare orders for shipment. You will operate forklifts and pallet jacks, maintain inventory organization, and follow safety protocols to protect yourself and teammates.

The role involves receiving shipments, packing orders, labeling and shipping, and supporting maintenance to keep the warehouse clean and efficient.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse experience is a plus.
• Basic knowledge of warehouse operations and inventory management.
• Ability to operate material handling equipment safely (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks).

Responsibilities

• Receiving Shipments: Unload and inspect incoming shipments, verifying the accuracy of the delivered goods against purchase orders and packing slips.
• Inventory Management: Store products in designated locations, ensuring proper organization and rotation to minimize damage and spoilage.
• Order Fulfillment: Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment for customer requirements.
• Shipping: Prepare shipping documents and labels, and load outbound shipments onto delivery vehicles.
• Quality Control: Inspect products for defects or discrepancies, and report any issues to the supervisor.
• Equipment Operation: Safely operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
• Safety: Adhere to all safety procedures and protocols to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.
• Maintenance: Keep the warehouse clean and organized, including disposing of waste and maintaining equipment.
