Summary

CHS is seeking a Union Worker, Production to join our lubricants team at our Inver Grove Heights blending and packaging facility.

Compensation Data

Salary Range: $20.50 per hour

This is a union role. Wages are based on the collective bargaining agreement.

Responsibilities

• Assist in training new employees alongside the Process Lead and Warehouse Manager.
• Support the Supervisor with daily inventory tasks.
• Check-in materials, inspect, and verify against packing lists/POs.
• Complete shipping, receiving, and inspection documents accurately.
• Conduct and record cycle counts of all inventory, including satellite warehouses.
• Enter receipts, issues, returns, and cycle counts into tracking databases.
• Perform all warehouse functions: loading/unloading trailers, moving pallets, palletizing bags, picking orders, identifying finished products, completing documentation, and cleaning.
• Load/unload freight promptly and accurately.
• Maintain a strong safety culture by following all safety policies and procedures. Report workplace hazards and unsafe actions.
• Keep processing and adjoining areas clean and organized.
• Complete sanitation schedules timely.
• Manage inventory following FIFO principles.
• Operate forklifts and other heavy equipment safely.
• Pack, stock, organize, and rearrange materials.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned by plant leadership.
• Label and store inventory and non-inventory materials properly.
• Pull and deliver materials/tools/parts as requested, ensuring proper issuance to work orders.
• Accurately record daily production on sheets.
• Rotate through all job functions daily as per schedule.
• Schedule shipments, prepare shipping documentation, and package materials.

Minimum Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience in Supply Chain and/or Procurement.

Additional Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in Business, Economics, Manufacturing, Logistics, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, Systems Engineering, Statistics, or related fields.
