Micheldever Tyre Services is seeking a Warehouse Operative to join their UK distribution network. The role involves order picking, loading/unloading vehicles, and stock put-away with a strong emphasis on accuracy and safety.

A forklift licence is desirable but not essential, and training is provided for health and safety and warehouse processes. You will work Monday to Friday, 45 hours per week, with shifts from 12:30pm to 10:00pm.

• Good understanding of Health & Safety in a warehouse.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Experience in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.
• Forklift licence is desirable but not essential.

Responsabilités

• Check all goods received and sent out for faults and report as required.
• Maintain high stock accuracy at audits and communicate discrepancies.
• Move goods efficiently within the warehouse according to instructions.
• Load outbound vehicles safely and per company practice and law.
• Put-away stock in correct locations and process orders accurately.

Micheldever Tyres is looking for an enthusiasticWarehouse Operativetobe responsible forpicking orders,loadingand unloading vehicles and putting stock away. The role involves manual handling, heavy lifting duties and occasional Van or Forklift Truck driving duties.

Shift Pattern:Monday to Friday, 45 hours per week working between 12.30pm and 10pm.

About the role:

Ensure all goods received and sent out are checked for faults and reported asrequired

Ensurehigh levelsof count accuracy at Stock Audits, effectively communicating stock discrepancies,shortagesor problem areas

Ensure any movement of goods within the Warehouse environment is efficient andaccurateaccording to instruction

Ensure out-bound vehicles are loaded in a proper, safe manner, according to instruction, CompanyPracticeand current legislation

Ensure all received stock is ‘put-away’ in the correct locations within the Warehouse and all goods due for dispatch are processed,pickedand loaded correct to customer order and DC requirements.
