Job summary

Yusen Logistics has a brand-new Northampton warehouse near junction 15 of the M1. We are seeking a reliable Warehouse Operative to join a full-time, operations-focused team with ongoing training and career progression opportunities.

The role involves loading/unloading, training on equipment and IT systems, and using the warehouse management system. A FLT license or willingness to obtain one is preferred, and a strong team player will fit well in this growing operation.

• Ideal candidates will have previous warehouse experience, but we will provide all the training required.
• Willingness to learn and adapt.

We are looking for a Warehouse Operative to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis, working Monday to Friday, 6:00am – 2:00pm (with some weekend working where required).

The Role

As a Warehouse Operative, you will support the day-to-day running of our brand-new Northampton warehouse located near junction 15 of the M1.

Working as part of this brand-new operation, you will support a variety of warehouse activities to meet the changing needs of the business. As the operation develops, your day-to-day tasks may change, requiring a high level of flexibility and adaptability.

You will also:

About You

We welcome applications from people with a range of backgrounds and experiences. To help you succeed as a Warehouse Operative, you will ideally have:

• Experience in a warehouse or similar environment


• Basic literacy and numeracy skills


• An understanding of safe manual handling practices


• The ability to work collaboratively as part of a team


• A willingness to learn and adapt


• A current FLT, counterbalance, reach truck or pallet stacker licence (or a willingness to obtain one)
