Job summary

GEODIS in Lakeland, FL is seeking a Warehouse Operations Team Lead for 2nd shift to supervise a warehouse team and ensure efficient inbound/outbound processes. You will coordinate with CSR and Operations Supervisor to schedule labor, manage cycle counts, and uphold safety standards.

This role requires hands-on leadership with experience in warehouse equipment, Excel proficiency, and ability to communicate clear instructions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• 2 to 4 years related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience with warehouse equipment, preferably a Stand Up Forklift.
• Experience with Microsoft Office, including Excel.

Responsibilities

• Track employee hours for accounts and provide feedback.
• Direct a team of employees for one or more warehouse accounts.
• Coordinate shipping schedules and labor requirements for rework projects and cycle counts.
• Unload and move inbound freight to storage locations safely and efficiently.
• Pull and prepare product for shipment, ensuring correct quantity and type.
• Perform picking duties efficiently to meet customer and company standards.

What you will be doing:

• Tracks employee hours in account to provide feedback
• Directs team of employees for one or more accounts in warehouse
• Coordinates with CSR and Operations Supervisor to determine shipping schedules, labor requirements for rework projects, and cycle counts
• Unloads and moves inbound freight product to storage locations safely and efficiently
• Pulls and prepares product for shipment, ensuring the exact number and type of product is loaded
• Performs picking duties in an efficient manner that meets both customer and company standards

REQUIREMENTS:

• High school diploma or GED (General Education Diploma) equivalent
• 2 to 4 years related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Experience with warehouse equipment, preferably a Stand Up Forklift
• Experience with Microsoft Office, including Excel
• Synapse training preferred
• Ability to read and interpret simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
• Ability to write simple reports and correspondence
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
