Job summary

Airline-Hydraulics-Corporation- is seeking a Warehouse Operations Team Lead to partner with upper management to implement warehouse initiatives. You will oversee inbound/outbound activities, staffing across areas, and drive safety and productivity goals while maintaining records and handling quality paperwork.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, warehouse experience, and onsite training for forklift operation.

Qualifications

• Experience in a warehouse associate role.
• Supervisory experience is preferred but not required.
• Onsite training is required to operate a fork truck and/or use tools or equipment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee inbound receiving and stocking activities.
• Coordinate outbound logistics and shipping scheduling.
• Shift personnel between warehouse areas to ensure staffing.
• Create and implement procedures with leadership for efficiency.

• Complete quality paperwork and coordinate with Quality for non-conformances.
• Train new hires and cross-train existing staff.

Job description

The Warehouse Operations Team Lead will work along with upper management to implement company initiatives in the warehouse. The Team Lead will learn to perform all daily warehouse tasks such as order fulfillment processing, vendor receiving processing, quality inspections, maintaining records, copying, posting, and other similar duties, using a computer terminal. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee activities related to inbound shipments including checking in, receiving, and stocking as well as outbound activities including scheduling logistics and shipments
• Shift personnel between separate warehouse functional areas to ensure each part of the process is sufficiently staffed
• Create and implement operational procedures with the assistance of the leadership team to ensure work is completed in an efficient manner
• Continually improve and build upon existing processes by identifying areas of improvement, designing solutions with measurable impacts in mind, and executing improvements
• Build and maintain a positive work culture by instilling a team-oriented sense of camaraderie
• Point person for questions/issues as they arrive
• Complete quality paperwork when non-conformances arise, work with the quality department on preventative resolutions
• Train new employees and cross-train existing employees
• Assist in daily warehouse tasks to maintain workload
• Drive compliance with safety and productivity goals
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• High school diploma or graduate equivalency diploma (GED)
• Experience in warehouse associate role
• Supervisory experience is preferred but not required
• Onsite training is required to perform job duties that involve operating a fork truck and/or using tools, machinery, or equipment
