Qualifications

• H.S. diploma/GED required
• One year or more experience in transportation, warehouse or distribution environment preferred
• 0 to One year direct supervisory/leadership experience required

Responsibilities

• Supervise, coordinate and oversee day to day logistics operations.
• Plan and review logistics processes with the Logistics Manager to meet standards and customer service specifications.
• Establish work schedules and coordinate activities to ensure optimal shift and team logistics.
• Be accountable for site KPI and monitor progress toward objectives.
• Collaborate with customers in all aspects of operations.
• Conduct regular team meetings to monitor progress, coach, and recognize achievements.
• Promote diversity and inclusion and seek process improvements.
• Carry out performance evaluations and recommend merit increases.
• Address performance problems through corrective action and disciplinary process.
• Maintain positive labor relations and understand labor agreements.
• Implement health, safety, and security initiatives; ensure policy adherence.
• Provide orientation and resources to employees and Lead Hands.
