Job summary

Middlesex County Utilities Authority (MCUA) seeks a Warehouse Supervisor to oversee daily warehouse operations, supervise staff, and ensure accurate inventory, efficient shipping, storage and procurement at the Central Treatment Plant.

The role requires strong communication, analytical and organizational skills, CMMS experience, and proficiency in Excel and Word. Forklift certification and a valid driver’s license are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED plus 5 years of related warehouse experience, including 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Experience with a CMMS; project management and strong organizational skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word; strong communication, mathematical, analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily warehouse operations and supervise staff.
• Maintain computerized inventory records and cycle counts.
• Coordinate with vendors to resolve shipments and forecast needs.
• Forecast departmental needs and manage stock levels by turnover and trends.
• Organize warehouse and yard storage; operate heavy equipment.
• Enforce safety and health policies and procedures.
