Job summary

The Marzetti Company is hiring a Warehouse Supervisor at the Sister Schubert’s Horse Cave Campus to oversee receiving, storage, and distribution of raw materials and finished goods. You will lead a shift, ensure safety, quality, and efficiency, and coordinate with production and accounting teams.

You will implement company safety programs, supervise 2-25 team members, and drive continuous improvement in warehouse operations, while maintaining compliance with SOPs and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years warehouse and leadership experience in a manufacturing environment preferred, with food industry experience encouraged.
• Working knowledge of receiving, warehousing and material handling operations.
• Ability to read and interpret written and verbal direction while working safely in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Directs and coordinates overall warehousing activities for receiving, storage, and distribution.
• Ensures safety compliance and OSHA standards across shifts.
• Maintains quality controls and food safety practices within the warehouse.
• Manages inventory rotation and minimizes stockouts and waste.
• Leads staffing, scheduling, and training of team members.
• Collaborates with plant accounting to resolve discrepancies and optimize costs.
